AN OUTDOOR LITERARY ADVENTURE - PERFECT FOR AN AUTUMN MORNING

Enjoy a preview of nature writing by naturalist, poet and WVC English professor Derek Sheffield, followed by a leisurely "walk and wirte" solo on the banks of the Columbia River, ending with your sack lunch and an hour of optional readouts and guided commentary.  Fiction and non fiction writers as well as poet will love this feet-on, hands-on workshop.

Meet at the Douglas County Administration Center, 140 19th St. NW in East Wenatchee (go west at the light) and the East Side Loop Trail.

Your supplies for this workshop are simple:  a notebook (paper or electronic), writing utensils and a pillow, pad or tarp for comfortable riverside seating.  We'll expect lovely weather, but please bring rain gear just in case.  Bring a sack lunch to stow at the Administration Center's meeting room.  Bottled water will be provided.
