This three-hour masterclass is open to the public and will be taught by guest instructor, Scott Driscoll, and held via Zoom. The class will consist of a combination of lecture, break out rooms, and Q&A. For those who are interested, prior submissions will be read anonymously for discussion.
“VOICE AND DISTANCE”
Choosing how any story best get told means understanding the characters’ emotions, the narrator’s perspective on events, and who is actually “telling” the story. Learn about psychic and narrative distance and apply it to your fiction writing.
Rules for Submission:
Submissions will be stripped of identifying information and emailed as a whole to all registered attendees for review prior to the workshop. Presenter will read submissions in random order, and as time allows.
